Koi are some of my favourite fish. They are all unique and colourful, and all their patterns always go together in a perfect harmony. They symbolise courage, perseverance and accomplishment. And accomplishment is exactly what I feel, as I do the last few brush strokes on this painting, putting together this peaceful, patterned world. As I submerge myself in between the smaller strokes that complete the feel of the ever moving, rippled water, and find myself swimming amongst the Koi I sense calm and fulfillment. I feel as if the universe is just stuck in this moment; now; and it is eternally beautiful
